Cash drawer won’t open
If your cash drawer won’t open, here are several troubleshooting practices before contacting your support team.
-Confirm the drawer is unlocked.
-Restart the OnTrac app by double-tapping the home button then swiping up on the OnTrac app.
-Confirm internet connectivity. Go to Settings > WiFi, then verify or establish connection to your network.
-Hard-reset the iPad by simultaneously holding down the home button & the sleep/wake button for 5 seconds.
-Confirm that all cables are properly connected & your printer is powered on.
-Pull the till out of your cash drawer & perform a visual inspection of the cash drawer cavity. Address any obvious obstructions or damage to wheels, tracts, springs or internal components.
-Engage lock release lever on the bottom of cash drawer.
